COVID-19 Update

Grand Canyon Adventures COVID-19 Response

We will do everything we can to limit contact and adhere to social distancing as much as possible. Each private tour will have a limit of 6 passengers in order to provide plenty of room to each of our guests. If you have your own mask we encourage you to use it, otherwise we will be offering you a mask. Hand sanitizer and hand wipes will be provided throughout the tour and we will be happy to point out places where you can wash your hands as often as possible.

In addition to heightened cleaning procedures we are providing individually packed lunches, we have partnered with local restaurant La Bellavia to bring you a pre-boxed lunch! You will have your own cooler for your use throughout the day.

You will have your own cooler of drinks (water, sodas, and juices) but if you would like to bring your own water bottle you are encouraged to do so. There will be water refilling stations on each of our vans.

Thank you for joining us for a tour, your safety is our priority during these strange times! We look forward to seeing you and showing the spectacular sights that Northern Arizona has to offer.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will the tour be any different?
While the breathtaking views and overall quality of the tours will remain the same, we are changing the size of our groups and how we do our lunches. We are limiting our group tours, and we are running private group tours as an alternative. If you choose to book a public day tour with us, the passenger count will be reduced from 12 passengers to 6 passengers per trip. Our picnic style lunch will change to an individually packaged lunch. We have partnered with local restaurant La Bellavilla to minimize contamination.
What steps will GCA take to mitigate transmission of COVID - 19?
We are committed to your safety and we will provide you with masks, hand sanitizer, and our guides will take extra safety measures to minimize contact wherever possible. We take great pride in the cleanliness of our vans, however after COVID we will take extra precautions when sanitizing our vans as well as our coolers. Each van will have access to sanitation materials.
Are there any travel alerts for Flagstaff?
The US State Department and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) post travel alerts and travel warnings for countries where travelers' health and safety may be at risk. When planning your trip, we recommend you check the State Department site and CDC to see what precautions you should take.

If you have further questions the City of Flagstaff also has information on open business and best practices. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
