Antelope Canyon Availability for 2022
Antelope Canyon is one of the most popular destinations in Northern Arizona, and it is one the most unique and beautiful sights in the world. However Antelope Canyon has limited availability to visitors. For now, the Navajo Nation has is operating their parks at 50% capacity. The Navajo Nation has taken a stronger action against the virus because of the vulnerability of their population. As the rest of the country experiences higher rates of vaccinations, we are hopeful that the Navajo Nation will begin to fully open reservation land.
What This Means for Antelope Canyon
The Navajo Nation has set limited availability for Antelope Canyon and it may be some time before we are able to take guests out at full capacity. That will make entry into Antelope Canyon very restricted. Make sure to plan well in advance to ensure seating and reserve dates for your tour!
Current restrictions are as follows, regardless of vaccination status:
- Guests must wear masks regardless whether you are indoors OR outdoors
- We will maintain small group size
- Guests that do not live in the same household must maintain 6 ft of distance between other guests
- Guests must frequently wash hands (we happily provide hand sanitizer on all our vans)
Please be respectful to the Navajo Nation as we visit the beautiful parks they have to offer. The Navajo Nation is particularly vulnerable to the virus and these restrictions are necessary for their community.

Can I Still Visit Other Parks?
Yes! The Grand Canyon National Park remains open. Horseshoe Bend also remains open since the overlook is run the the City of Page, AZ. Currently the only limitations from the pandemic are from the Navajo Nation Parks like Antelope Canyon and Monument Valley. But don’t let that discourage you from visiting Northern Arizona!
