Flagstaff Monuments Tour

From ancient ruins to dormant volcanoes this tour takes you back to a time where the Native Tribes thrived and the San Francisco volcanic field was alive and flowing!

Join us for an immersive experience through 3 national monuments all less than an hour from Flagstaff! We’ll walk among ancient ruins in the desert, explore lava fields in the forest, and hike down into a canyon lined with cliff dwellings! This tour provides an unforgettable experience for those looking for an immersive tour of Northern Arizona!

The Experience

Departing from Flagstaff, we’ll make a short journey to start our day of exploration at Wupatki National Monument! We’ll be able to explore a number of native ruins while walking through an environment vastly different from the Flagstaff area!

Next we drive back up into the ponderosa forest to Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument! This is the youngest volcano in the entire volcanic field and is surrounded by a mix of pristine forest and fields of lava rock making it a unique and breathtaking view!

We’ll conclude the day at Walnut Canyon National Monument. Here we’ll take the Island Trail down into Walnut Canyon where your guide will tell stories of those who once occupied the canyon. You’ll be able to see their cliff dwellings throughout the trail and get a glimpse into the lifestyle of the Sinagua People.
